The most unprofessional company I have ever used. My sorry tale with this company starts last November when I sent them some photo's of items I wanted valued (as they supposedly offer this service) waited 6 weeks, heard nothing, called them, they assured me somebody was looking at the items, never heard from them again.

Fast forward to this June, decided to give them another go, this time took the items to a valuation day had them valued and the items were going to go into the next 2 auctions with a discretionary reserve, was told I would receive auction and lot confirmation via email before the auctions, got nothing.
Checked the catalogue found 4 of my items which should have all been listed seperately had in fact been done as one lot, rang them, it was blamed on a breakdown in communication between the valuer and cataloguer, they did sort it out but it was just as well I checked.

Auction day, watched online, auctioneer does not bother to try and sell anything seems only interested in getting through the items as quickly as possible, in fact some online bidders lost out as he accepted saleroom bids while they were still bidding, he just told them to hurry up. Watched all my items sell for just below reserve which was fine. Rang a couple of days later to confirm what the items had sold for to be told only one item had been sold, when I said I had watched them all sell online I was told it's company policy to show everything as being sold because apparently it's easier for the person dealing with online bids to click the 'sold' button rather than the 'next item' button. So instead of making over £300 I ended up making about £50. Went to the auction house 10 days later to pick up my cash to be told that another 'mistake' had been made and in fact nothing had sold. When I complained about the appalling service I had received the man I was dealing with could not have been less interested. Avoid this company like the plague.
